Luckily, I decided to check anyway after the weatherman said that we would be too cloudy to see the Super Moon, a lunar display which was scheduled for the final time in many of our lifetimes. The cloudy atmosphere only added the mystery of this photo, captured as it rose above the Chugach Mountains along Turnagain Arm above Anchorage.
