HELLO. My name is Michael Dinneen and I’m a PHOTOGRAPHER based in Anchorage, Alaska.
I also specialize in weddings, wedding elopement, Alaska destination weddings, editorial, event photography, products, food photography, high school senior portraits, business, business portraits photography, and more!
My Alaska adventure began as a “three-year experiment” when our family left everything familiar and moved from Portland, Oregon to Juneau. I still recall my grandmother’s waving hand slowly receding as the ferry Matanuska slipped away from the Bellingham dock.
The experiment officially ended within a week when we caught and feasted on our first silver salmon from the beach at Auke Bay. At that moment, we became hooked on Alaska – the beauty of the land, its’ people and the lifestyle it had to offer.
My work has appeared in publications worldwide via the Associated Press, the New York Times and Alaska Magazine.
My clients include BP Alaska, the Rasmuson Foundation, University of Alaska, Alaska Communications Systems, Alaska Small Business Development Center and several public relations firms in the state.
